1970 “He who displaces must replace.” Speaking about giving priority to families that have been displaced due to urban renewal. |

1975 “The law is for everyone. It is a matter of right.” Arguing on behalf of a defendant at Lawrence District Court. As a result, the law was changed to not allow criminal complainants to also act as translators. |

1985 “Victims have a right to express their opinion, not only at the Superior Court, but in every court in which sentencing occurs.” At a news conference defending victim’s rights. |
